Turning point: A major turning point came during the COVID-19 pandemic, shortly after launching her skincare business. As mask-related acne and skin irritation cases increased, Sharyln discovered that one of her existing formulations could help address acne bacteria and irritated skin conditions.

This led to the launch of products such as the KYLN Maskne Toner and KARE Skin Soother Toner, which received strong positive feedback from customers, including healthcare professionals. The experience shifted her focus towards specialised skincare solutions for sensitive and inflamed skin conditions.

What she does now: Today, Sharyln leads Sharyln & Co, where she develops skincare solutions for people with acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and other skin sensitivities. She also runs CJMS Management, a project and event management company.

Beyond product development, she actively educates consumers on skincare ingredients, skin health, and barrier recovery through consultations, marketing content, and customer engagement.
